Junahyeng Academy is operated as a sole proprietorship based in Florida, United States. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Questions: hello@junah.biz.
What we collect
If you request the free starter guide, we collect the email address you type in. Alongside it we store the date, your browser's user-agent string, and a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address. We keep the hash — not the address itself — so we can limit abuse of the form without holding data that identifies where you are.
We do not collect names, postal addresses, payment details, or any special-category data. There are no accounts and no logins on this site.
Why we collect it
- To send you the free starter guide you asked for.
- To send you roughly one practical guide a month, until you unsubscribe.
- To stop automated abuse of the sign-up form.
Under UK and EU data protection law, our basis for sending you the guide and the newsletter is your consent, which you give by submitting the form and can withdraw at any time. Our basis for the abuse-prevention data is legitimate interest in keeping the service working.
Who else handles your data
- Supabase — stores the subscriber list.
- Resend — delivers the emails.
- Vercel — hosts the website.
- Sanity — stores the articles and page content. It holds no subscriber data.
These providers process data on our instructions. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe. When you unsubscribe we mark the record as unsubscribed and stop sending, retaining the address only so that we do not accidentally add you back. You can ask us to erase it entirely.
Your rights
Every email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and that is the fastest way to stop hearing from us. Beyond that you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@junah.biz and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your national data protection authority. If you are a California resident, the CCPA and CPRA give you rights to know, delete, and correct the personal information we hold, and to opt out of its sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us their email address, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page, and say so in the next newsletter.
