The short version: this site sets no tracking cookies, and there is nothing here for you to consent to.
Why there is no cookie banner
Cookie banners exist because most sites load advertising and analytics scripts that track visitors across the web. This site does not. We deliberately chose analytics that works without cookies and without following you anywhere, which means no consent is required and no banner is needed.
What we do use
Analytics, without cookies
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to see roughly how many people visit and how quickly pages load. It sets no cookies, does not use a persistent identifier, and does not track you across other websites. We can see that a page was viewed; we cannot see who viewed it.
One cookie, for the site owner only
When the owner of this site previews an unpublished guide, a cookie is set to keep that preview session open. It is never set for ordinary visitors, and it carries no information about you.
What we do not use
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No social media tracking pixels.
- No cross-site or third-party profiling.
- No session recording or heatmaps.
Your email address is separate
If you sign up for the free starter guide, we store the email address you give us. That is not a cookie and is not collected by browsing — you have to type it in. The Privacy Policy explains what happens to it.
Blocking cookies anyway
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies. Because this site does not depend on them, blocking them will not break anything here.
